Here is the third edition of the annual Italian Drupalcamp, THE event for all the people willing to use or already using Drupal on a daily basis.
This year the event will take place in Verona at the math, physics and natural sciences faculty of the University of Verona, and will span two days to better settle all the activities and events that we're scheduling..

At the end of the sessions proposal period, we have compiled the program for the two days of Drupal Camp Verona 2011. Read the table with sessions' date and time and start building your schedule!

On Saturday, Sept. 24, during the Drupal Camp's second day, the event will host a keynote, a special session, presented in plenary and by a speaker we're very happy to have with us: Luca Mascaro. Here's the abstract for the keynote and a short biography of Luca (both in Italian).

The facility hosting Drupal Camp Verona 2011 can provide free wireless connections to the event's attendees. In order to get access information, you must provide a copy of your identity document. It is strongly recommended to carry your own copy with you, because the check-in/registration area doesn't have a copy-machine and people at the check-in desk will not be able to leave the desk to reach one.
Verona is easily reachable from most of Northern Italy. If you want to save both money and CO2 emissions, we encourage you to plan your travel with other Drupal Camp attendees. If you still don't know anyone who might be coming with you, take a look at this site devoted at promoting and facilitating «car pooling», http://roadsharing.com, specifically to the page dedicated to Drupal Camp Verona 2011, where you can ask or offer a lift. Here's a list of hotels with available in the area of Verona. They're all situated not too far away from the town: in order to reach the Faculty of Sciences, you will have to take an ATV bus, then change to another one at the rail station (except if you choose the hotel in Castel d'Azzano, whose bus stops in Borgo Roma before arriving at the bus terminal).

This year we thought to present a unique opportunity to all the people participating the Camp by organizing a little basketball tournament: what's better than sport when it comes to celebrate an event and to make friends? If you're reading this post and you didn't get here by chance, it's safe to assume that you already know about the kick-off of one of the main events for the international Drupal community, the European Drupal Conference, this year held in London from August 22 to Aug. 26.
